The Kids Song

The story behind this song is short but sweet. There is a song on Sonnets Set To Music with a chorus that goes "i want kids, i want kids". Before that song went on the album, that song was always refered to as The Kids Song. When it went on the album, it became "I Have Everything (But One Thing)". How ever, among friends,we still always called it the kids song. The Kids Song was the logical title for that song, as i typicly call songs "The Water SOng" or "The Pancake Song". I figued people who didn't remember the real title of "I've Got Everything But One Thing" would probably call it the kids song when they talked about it. For that reason, I decided to write a nother song called The Kids Song that would be called The Kids Song on the record just for the purpose of confusing people. There is no other reason for me writing this song. I wrote the lyrics with complete oposite view on kids, going from one extreme to another. I did that to both confuse people, and to show that not everything Lance Romañce says is nesisarily the way he really thinks. As you may or may not know, Lance Romañce is really Ben Garber, who is actually very different from Lance, just the way Jape Richardson is very different from his alter ego, Big Bopper.
well i don't know about you
but i sure hate kids
they kick me and call me names
they never shut thir lids

i can't stand the little bastards
i hate those little fucks
i like to run them over
i like to stomp on their toy trucks

i really hate children
they all should be killed
their bikes should be stollen
they all should be grilled
