No Bottoms Please

This is hands down my very favorite song I ever did.

Despite the fact that this song does have vocals and even words, I still consider this and instrumental. The vocals are such a small part of this song and so unimportant that they just don't really count. If you want to hear this song with out vocals, just turn off the right speaker.

This song was influenced a little bit by "Flying" by the beatles, which is an OK song, but was really based largely on a song called "NO Matter What Shape Your Stomach's In" by a band called the T-Bones. MMm.... t-bone stake. Yum yum yum. In terms of notes and melody and the msuic itself, my song and the t-bones have little in common. However, stylisticly, the way the performance sounds, the two songs are very similer. I have never heard another song that sounds anything like that Stomach song the t-bones did, so i decided i would do it. And i must say I did a damn good job, as the two songs sound very stylisticly similer. They just have similer instrumentation, arangements and feels. The vocal part... Well, at the beginnng i use the same 3-head tape deck technique as i did on Matt's Birthday. The words were just made up, and are stupid and un important , they are just there to keep the song intresting musicly, but you needent worry about what they are saying. I didn't put in intresting lyrics because i didn't want to distract too much from the music.

On the key board part, I had the key board setto do piano and a horn at the same time. Then i turned up the volume so it would distort on the tape.

This song has gone through so so many titles....... I can never decided. The CD has two different back covers. One back cover calls the song "No Pants Please" while the other calls it "No Pants Please". This song has also been called The Naked Song, Lets Get Naked, and Stomach Fly after the two songs that influenced this one.

Also, some people might notice the bass line and key board part are different., This was a mistake that I liked and kept.

I'm not exactly sure how i was able to put this song to gether the way I did, but I did, and damn it I liked it I actualy recorded this thinking I would make up lyrics for it, and make it a real song, but i liked the music so much that I just couldn't touch it. I am very very very happy with this song.
